The beautiful natural surroundings, people, history, and cultures all cohabit in Kashmir, in northern India. The valley is adorned with rainbows, pansies, daffodils, hyacinths, apples, and strawberries, among other rare flowers, in addition to rich foliage and mountains. It is believed to be the earthly embodiment of paradise.
Day 1 begins with half an hour drive through New Srinagar leading your arrival towards Srinagar International Airport. Discover the gardens of the well-known Mughal gardens, Shalimar and Nishat, which were constructed over a fourteen-year period. A 2-hour shikara ride through the lake will be offered later. You will pass by vegetable gardens and aquatic life.
The second day will begin with a sumptuous breakfast at our accommodation before we head to the magnificent alpine resort of Sonamarg. We go via villages including Kangan, Mammar, Gagangir, the Thajiwas glacier, and a tiny town market as we make our way through the gorgeous countryside. We'll also see the Thajiwas glacier and take in the way of life there
The trip from Srinagar to Pahalgam involves a 97-kilometer drive on National Highway 1A, passing through Pampore, Avantipura, and Bijbehara, known as the bread basket of Kashmir. The road then turns scenic, passing Anantnag and the Lidder river. Upon arrival, guests can enjoy nature walks and overnight stay.
After breakfast, you can explore Pahalgam by driving to Chandanwari and Betaab valley or riding horseback across the wildlife sanctuary towards Baisaran meadows.
On Day 05, we drive 152 kilometers to Gulmarg, passing colorful villages and rice fields. We arrive at Tangmarg, a picturesque market town, and continue a scenic 14-kilometer drive to Gulmarg. In the afternoon, we tour the meadow and stay overnight.
Gulmarg offers local sightseeing and overnight stay, with a visit to the Afarwatt Mountain range via the Gondola cable car system. The tour includes photo opportunities, horse-riding to the strawberry valley, and dinner before returning to Gulmarg base.
On Day 07, we will depart for the airport after a late morning breakfast. We may stop for last-minute shopping in the city center before the driver assists with luggage screening and drops you off outside the terminal gate.
